I bought this to replace my 7 year old Dell Inspiron 1100, which has served me well over the years. BUT this is another level. It's smart,sleek, quick and looks great. The mouse pad is really responsive and the keys are comfortable.
The display is much brighter than the Compaq equivalent and its lighter too.
Battery life is good and the webcam detail is very competitive.
All in all AMAZING VALUE!! 10/10

Had it for a couple of weeks and I think its great! Theres no problems at all conection is great, sounds loud, screen is really good and if you watch HD films on it the picture is outstanding. Its very fast and comes with some good protection.
Would defentily recommend this to anyone looking for a laptop around this price.

I could not be more happy with my new Samsung R530. It has performed flawlessly for the month I have had it. It is fast, easy to use (Windows 7) and attractive. I agree with other reviewers that there is more/thinner plastic than older laptops I have owned, but this doesn't detract from its appearance, and has shown no signs of damage or wear so far. It's also four times as fast and half the price of my last laptop.

I'd heard a lot of bad reviews about this product but I was struggling to find another laptop this powerful for this price. I brought the laptop and none of the problems I'd heard were apparent on it. The casing is solid the screen is very clear with brilliant colour detail it looks stylish and is very quick. I had a few problems getting the wireless to work but I reinstalled the wireless driver and the problem was fixed (apparently a common problem on windows 7). Overall this machine is sound, affordable and stylish can not recommend enough.

Superb computer has excellent features throughout. Runs very quickly and saves all important hardware to computer incase of viruses.
Service from amazon was typically great, on time and product was in mint condition. They have never let me down with service.
